I'm not even going to go into my absence, I'm just going to start off like I've never been gone!
I've been keeping up with my blog reading, and commenting here and there, so I'm still around...
I have been able to get out on many weekends over the summer and Fall to ride! I've been truly enjoying myself and feel beyond blessed to be able to experience the trails I have access to (even though they may or may not be intended for horse back riding), the wonderful horses I'm able to take out at my leisure and the company I keep with them! Riding (in most any capacity) is such a soul cleansing experience. I know it's so cliche and mushy to say, but without these moments, I don't know where I'd be (emotionally, anyway).
Anyway, enough of the mumbo jumbo.
Here's some pics from last weekends trail ride!

Hi Story, how are you?!
I'm glad to see you're still around too. I'm a lurky loo these days! :)
Hey you - welcome back!
How's that kid of yours doing?
And more importantly - how are you mixing riding and being a parent? I'm always looking for feedback on how to do this better.
PS: Check out Scandia Morgan Farms on Facebook. They have a deep chestnut weanling (half Lipitt/half Scandia) named Anthem.
If I sell my book and hit the lottery with a big advance (won't happen, but I can dream) he's who I want to get to reward myself.
